When I got www.littlecutie.net and set it up as a family page, I knew that someone else had grabbed the ".com" address. I was hoping they would put something family-oriented there, but unfortunately, they did not.
Please be sure that you go to www.littlecutie.NET when you want to visit these pages. You must type the ".NET", not dot com!
The owner of .com has chosen to use it for content that is not appropriate for children... heck, it's not even appropriate for adults with half a brain. At least it doesn't include images... but that's small comfort if you end up there by accident.
If you do go to the .com by accident, you may have problems exiting the site. The site owner used some programming tricks to pop up message boxes and additional (even more offensive) web pages. Here's how to avoid any problems with this bad neighbor -- these instructions can be useful any time you find yourself in a bad 'net neighborhood.
The only good news in this is that the owner of the littlecutie dot com domain is clearly only holding onto it until someone buys it. The market for domain names has really bottomed out, and there's a great chance it won't get sold. The domain will expire someday, and with any luck, I'll be first in line to take it back. I'm not even going to ask the current owner how much they're selling it for -- that would only encourage them to hold onto it!
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience... good luck, and God bless!
Thank you for visiting!
